Eileen is a freelance photographer and graphic designer on Cape Cod. She grew up in the rough and tumble city of Yonkers, NY where she learned the art looking and waiting. She lives with her partner Tom, Pyrador Sam, and the spirit of Ms. Cheeze. Ciao meow!

Her work is a combines of beach culture with impromptu portraiture. Most subjects are strangers, photographed quickly over a quick chat and a laugh. Eileen works with a sense of humor and tries to find dichotomies and contradictions in the world around her.

In 2019 while undergoing chemotherapy she started the can you make hair for me? project on Instagram. This collaborative art project invites others to make “hair” for Eileen which she then models and photographs into a series of colorful and humorous self-portraits. She has been interviewed on NBC-Boston and WOMR Provincetown, and enjoys speaking to groups about her project and is a lymphoma achiever. She is working on a book of the project. Visit canyoumakehairforme.com.

Eileen holds an MFA: Visual Art/Photography from Lesley University and had studied with Greg Miller, Tanyth Berkeley and Costa Manos. Her work has been shown at Massachusetts General Hospital,  Artoma: The Art of Cancer(I & II), Blossom Fighting Cancer in Paris, and the Bob Korn Gallery, and numerous venues.
